NARRATIVE

Story of my life in six words:

Present in the here and now.

Not many people share how those six words really emphasize where they are, where they were, and where they are headed...

With my own six words, it is interesting because it was significantly different. And to summarize my life before the here and now, those six words would read:

Survival, fear, worry, shame, and guilt.

The person I am now is aware that no matter where I go or what I do, I have always been right here. Right here for myself. And when I opened and unlocked myself from the house I was once forced into, I started to build new. After embracing myself, young Lilandra... And I mean truly committing to her, I genuinely apologized and told her, "I have you and I am here for you just as you have been here for me." And as we both walked into the new, we promised that no matter what... I LOVE YOU.
